Starting from improvisations and visual material
(masks, stage objects, movement)
that we created in rehearsals on the theme of dreams,
we led our collaborative writing
with Daivika Elouard and Antoine Nowo
into a field of suspended time.
A time in which everything is controlled by someone else.
What would happen if we forgot how to dream?
if we no longer had that small time and space of freedom?
and if we went looking for our dreams at a
“ Trapeza Oneiron ”
waiting in the queue?
And if we could no longer remember our dreams?…
What would happen in the absolute void?
The dreams of Maria, Nikos, Daivika
and Eirini, and the dreams
the other performers never dreamed,
were transformed to nourish our new,
imaginary world, “Rûya”,
and allowed us to meet
with the Milos Experimental Stage
in a cosmic theatre
where gesture, movement, form
and fantasy become one.
