For the second year running, the Summer Art festival
tis Peiramatikis stage Milou
offered 15 hand-picked music and theatre performances
that graced 30 summer evenings
of Iouliou and of Avgoustou
winning warm reviews and good wishes for its future
from the audiences – locals and visitors alike –
who came to see it.
The aim of Summer Art is to help
showcase the cultural life of our island
with the consistency and integrity that have marked
the Experimental Stage’s twenty years of work.
The festival remains self-funded,
relying on the warmth of the artists (57 of them this year)
who want to share their work,
and on the dedication of our friends
Dimitri Poulimenou, Elpidas Mountsaki and Kosta Pitidi.
