Aliki Kagialoglou: musical and poetic journeys

Musical and poetic journeys with Aliki Kagialoglou,
the outstanding singer we first came to know
through the work of Manos Hadjidakis.
Part of the 19th Milos Festival
Aliki Kagialoglou is known in Greece and abroad
for her devotion to and passion for song,
for the way she interprets and connects with her audience,
and for her relationship with the word (poetry).
She has worked with two of the most important Greek composers,
Mikis Theodorakis and Manos Hadjidakis, in their concerts,
and has recorded their songs set to the poetry of Greek poets.
A lover of journeys, both real and imaginary,
she will tell stories of love, life and death in song.

She comes with unique gifts: the superb lyrics of Anagnostakis, Lorca, Gatsos, Ferrer, Luna and Pessoa, and the exquisite music of Hadjidakis, Piazzolla and Ramírez, as well as traditional music from Spain, Portugal, Chile and Argentina.
