Milos was represented with great success by the Experimental Stage at this year’s Aegean Amateur Theatre Meeting, held on Chios from 7 to 16 October. The comedy “The Lying Kind” was performed with great energy by the company, drawing constant roars of laughter from the Meeting’s particularly demanding audience, who had nothing but warm praise for it in the next day’s critical discussion. The companies agreed that every year the Experimental Stage brings pleasant surprises from Milos, and that it is a stable company that inspires confidence in its continuity and quality.
