the Milos Experimental Stage represented Milos with “An Italian Straw Hat” at the 29th Aegean Amateur Theatre Meeting, held this year on Paros. The show made a strong impression and was much talked about in the following days by the companies and the organisers. Enthusiastic comments included: “For the Aegean companies, the Milos production was a lesson in how contemporary theatre should stage some outdated works of the classical repertoire”, “An incredible, visual, fresh production, each scene better than the last; I didn’t want it to end”, and “What inventiveness, what actors, what movement, what costumes, what surprises, and with just a flower for a set!”
